The Washington Township Parks Department is responsible for maintaining 6.5 acres of land dedicated to encourage the active and passive recreational needs of our residents at no cost.

Tasks Completed by the Road Department
- Emptying trash receptacles
- Weekly playground checks
- Picnic table maintenance / painting
- Shelter maintenance
- Vandalism repairs
- Barrier Fence checks / repairs
- Sign maintenance
- Tree / stump removal
- Right of way litter control

- There are a total of three (3) ball diamonds that are reserved for Washington/Indian Lake County Ball Association from April 1st to July 31st of each year to play baseball and softball games with other teams that are a part of the Logan County Ball Association. We do not allow installation of permanent bases or line fields for official play.
- Reservations for the shelter and ball diamonds, when not in use, can be made any time after January 1st of each year.
- A Washington Township Park Shelter and Reservation Release Form must be printed and signed by anyone wishing to make a reservation for the shelter or ball diamond.
- Concession stands are not reservable.

Or put it in the drop box found on the front of the Washington Twp Hall building under the bulletin board. - The Park Shelter and Reservation Release Form is two pages. Please ensure you have read Park Rules on the first page and on the second page you have read the Release Statement for Holding Harmless the Township of Washington, its officers, employees and completed all information as well as signed the release statement before turning it in.
- Washington Township Trustees reserve the right to deny use of Township Facilities to groups who fail to comply with the rules and regulations as shown on the Park Shelter and Reservation Release Form.
- Once the form is received the Trustees or Fiscal Officer will contact the requestor to advise if the requested date is available and if so, the reservation will be marked on a calendar also viewable on the Park website page.

The Washington Township Park closes for the Fall / Winter seasons from 10/1/2024-3/31/2025. Our Road Dept. has turned off the water and completed all maintenance checks. There is a shelter available on a first come, first serve basis but no reservations taken until 2025.
